Voigtlander Vito family
One of the most long live 135 family of Voigtlander, Germany. Vitos were produced from 1939 to 1971, the early of Vitos are folding camera and all machanic because then, it the "golden era" of folding camera which no light meter can included in the camera.
As time past by and with technology changes, the revolutionary compact camera is replacing the folding camera, they begin to have light meter and automatic exposure function derive from battery and some electronic circuits, this explain why later Vitos became Vitomatics.
Folding, all of these folding Vitos are fully machanic with normal (50mm) lens. Compact, all of these compact Vitos have electronic which provides some of these functions light metering, automatic exposure control. Voigtlander Vito II
